Calon Wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta 2024 nomor urut tiga (3) Rano Karno (Bang Doel) menyebut pembangunan waduk hingga normalisasi sungai penting untuk menangani banjir yang terus terjadi di kota ini.
“Saya sepakat (dengan Kun) di Jakarta memang hanya tiga unsur banjir, yang pertama banjir kiriman. Karena itu pembangunan waduk untuk kurangi debit air yang masuk ke Jakarta sangat dibutuhkan, ” ujar dia dalam debat ketiga Pilkada DKI Jakarta 2024 di Jakarta, Minggu.
Selain pembangunan waduk, Rano juga mengatakan perlunya melakukan normalisasi sungai dan menambah jumlah sumur resapan di Jakarta.
Lebih lanjut terkait masalah di banjir di Jakarta, dia juga menyebut tentang banjir genangan drainase.
Guna menangani ini, dia akan menyiapkan pasukan oranye (Dinas Lingkungan Hidup) dan membangun sarana utilitas terpadu agar kabel tidak menumpuk di drainase.
“Kemudian secara nyata, banjir akan jadi salah satu prioritas APBD DKI 2025. Normalisasi sungai harus segera diselesaikan,” kata Rano.
KPU DKI Jakarta menggelar debat ketiga sekaligus terakhir pasangan calon gubernur dan wakil gubernur pada Pilkada DKI 2024 di Hotel Sultan, Jakarta Pusat, Minggu malam.
Tema yang diangkat dalam debat pamungkas yakni “Lingkungan Perkotaan dan Perubahan Iklim”. Masalah penanganan banjir, penataan permukiman, hingga pengelolaan sampah masuk ruang lingkup atau subtema debat ketiga.
