Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir mengungkapkan scheme financing dapat membantu rakyat untuk memiliki rumah layak huni dan terjangkau.
“Kita akan mendorong juga scheme financing di mana mortgage ini (tenor) yang hanya 15 tahun, kalau bisa jadi 30 tahun,” ujar Erick di Jakarta, Kamis (7/11).
Tujuan dari scheme financing ini adalah untuk membantu masyarakat dalam memiliki rumah dengan cicilan yang jauh lebih ramah.
“Supaya kembali membantu masyarakat yang memang sudah punya budget tertentu dengan ditarik (tenor) 30 tahun, maka cicilannya jauh lebih ramah ini bukan hanya untuk rumah rakyat, tapi ini menyeluruh ya baik rumah rakyat, menengah ataupun kelas lainnya,” katanya.
Selain itu, scheme financing ini juga dapat membantu dalam menaikkan daya beli masyarakat untuk bisa memiliki rumah.
“Jadi ini kita dorong juga bagaimana dengan efisiensi kita bisa mendorong masyarakat juga kita menaikkan daya belinya karena tadi berbagai cicilan terutama yang penting seperti rumah bisa diperpanjang,” kata Erick
