
Staf Khusus Dewan Pengarah Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila Antonius Benny Susetyo atau yang akrab disapa Romo Benny tutup usia hari ini Sabtu (5/10). Ia menghembuskan nafas terakhir pada usia 55 tahun atau sekitar lima hari jelang ia berulang tahun pada 10 Oktober.
Sekretaris Eksekutif Keadilan, Perdamaian, Migran dan Perantau Konferensi Waligereja Indonesia (KWI), Martin Jenarut mengkonfirmasi kebenaran berita duka tersebut.
Romo Benny meninggal di RS Mitra Medika Pontianak pada Sabtu (5/10) pukul 0.15 WIB. Nantinya, jenazah Romo Benny ke Rumah Duka Gotong Royong Malang.
Selain Romo Martin, Direktur Nasional Gusdurian Network Indonesia (GNI) Alissa Wahid juga mengonfirmasi kabar duka tersebut.
“Iya (meninggal dunia),” jawab Alissa mengutip CNN Indonesia.
Hingga saat ini, belum ada informasi lebih lanjut mengenai penyebab Romo Benny meninggal dunia.
